Developed in collaboration with designer Espen ?ino, the all-aluminium cruiser Bold was previously described by the yard as “a fast world explorer vessel with a genuine, fully-fledged superyacht finish”.
Bold represented a major challenge for the SilverYachts yard, switching its focus from slim, elegant, superyachts to the more utilitarian, shadow vessel style of Bold.
"It was to be a real world cruiser that could operate in a somewhat economical way, could carry a helicopter and have large outside living areas and very comfortable [indoor] living areas with connections with the outside," ?ino said.
Bold carries what might be the ideal superyacht helicopter pad. The primary helideck is certified, meaning it meets classification criteria for safety such as size and clearance. Its D value of 13 means it is suitable for a craft such as the 3.2-tonne, twin-engine, eight-seat AgustaWestland AW109S Grand.
Bold's open deck offers a good approach, far from any structure that can create turbulence and opening bulwarks expand the deck.
The aft seating area on the sundeck with the al fresco dining area beyond.
The glass-fronted spa pool under the hardtop on the sundeck holds 2,700 litres of warm water and has an auto top-up system.
The winter garden on the owner's deck connects to the saloon forward and is a light and sun filled wonder on bright days
Brightly coloured sofas frame the perimeter of a custom carpet with a bold geometric print under a backlit ceiling.
The master suite forward on the owner's deck is a peaceful haven with its own concealed entrance.
Oak, leather, silk carpeting and a few stainless-steel details create the effect of restrained luxury.
Located at the front of the superstructure, the wheelhouse features a comprehensive lighting plan.
There’s 747 square metres of deck space on board, including this dining area and bar on the bridge deck.
